With the holidays around this season, I don’t know about you, but I can get overwhelmed with business and cat antics. There are times when I need to slow down and find some ways to be present and at peace.
It reminds me of the words I use all the time which is in the title: “Peace, Hugs & Purrs”
This small statement contains all the Zen I need, and this is why…
As I lay on the couch covered in a blanket, my cat jumps up and curls on my chest. I feel the weight of her body cuddle in and get cozy giving me her cat hug. She starts with a low purr, and before long I can feel the vibration of the purr deep within. That purr helps me become present and mindful of her contentment, which soon reflects my own as I relax even more into this comforting place of peace. She extends her connection to me with her soft pads that gently knead on my arm; touching my heart.
This is the space where I have found ….Peace, Hug and Inner Purrs, and I wish you the same.
