Black Cat Countdown- Day 3
This is also National Cat Day… So it is a good day to talk about love!
This should be an easy post, right.
I guess that all depends on the definition of love.
We can all agree that we ‘love‘ our cat of all colors and we want them to be safe, happy and healthy.
We also need to remember that for a cat, love is expressed in a different way. A cats love is measured in head bumps, a tail wiggles and sitting next to you.
And they don’t have any view of it beyond what is now.
For many of us, including me, the way I love my cats is to cuddle, hold and give cat hugs and love. My cats are NOT impressed as you can see by this post.
So, on this 10th day of our Black Cat Countdown take the time to give love the way the cat wants it. Lets get ride of our selfish need for love and let the cat have a little.
Watch their tail, eyes and ears for clues. Their body language will tell you what to do.
Remember that love is eternal, not detrimental.
Open your heart and allow your cat to naturally become one with it. Put no expectation, rules or any thoughts on what you will receive in return.
