Staring at the wall

Thursday Cat Thoughts

By Miss Mattie…

I am going to stand here in this corner and stare at the wall.

I am not going to move until I get my way.

My human can wonder why I will not move, no matter what.

I know she probably thinks I am made or that I am loosing my mind. It doesn’t matter, I need to sit in protest for no reason but my own.

Mr. Bailey seems happy; he thinks I am meditating. Ha.

Who knows, they probably think I am sleeping as I sit here, or praying to the Cat Gods to create chaos in the house.

They know me so well.

So why am I staring at the wall?

No reason. Just because I can.

Am I mad?

Nope, not at all.

I have watches silly humans do weird crap for no reason. I decided to try it and now I know that this stuff works.

Although there has got to be a better way, because I am getting bored. This wall is not that interesting. Not a bug, cobweb or shadow in sight. Figures I pick the cleanest wall. I should have chose the dirty window.

Oh well, In the meantime, I will go back to staring at the wall.

(Did you know you can burn 120 calories banging your head against the wall? Yes, it’s true, but I wouldn’t try it. )
