It is tough to be one with the couch.
We use so much effort to stop the lure of the couch. Before long we can’t fight it.
We plopped down on our couch sinking in to it’s comfortable pull.
Being one with the couch is feeling the comfort, the softness of the cushions and the smell of the fabric.
We enjoy this wonderful place of Zen.
We become relaxed, so we grab a blanket or two and a cat and before we know it we find that our zen falls between the cushions and we sleep.
Be careful, as a couch is a community place, so it is possible to become ONE with what was left ON the couch or IN the couch.
What have you lost in the depths of your Zen couch?
What have you gained?
Maybe you should wait to be one with the couch and instead become “zen-fully” motivated to clean the couch.
The couch will wait, the cat…perhaps not.
