Goddess Bast

priestess_of_bastet_

“Look into the eyes of a cat, I will look back at you.”

Bast is an Egyptian Goddess. She was actually depicted as a Goddess with a cat “lion” head. She was a fierce protection Goddess, who bring Joy and good fortune. She had her own priestesses who kept cats in her temples. Cats was always considered sacred and treated as such, even after death. Bast was known to be worshiped as far back as 3500BC. As we can see by her modern day association, her  popularity has not diminished over the years.

I will talk more about Bast later.

If you want to connect to Bast.  Worship a cat.
