Why appreciate me?
Because it is Black Cat Appreciate day and I am an awesome black cat.
You need no other reason.
No, seriously that is the only reason you need.
That alone should be enough.
But, if you are being a stubborn human, I can give you a few good reasons to commence worshiping.
I said so. Period. (I am a demanding cat you know)
If you do, I will let you pet my soft silky fur ( Ok, I won’t but you can visualize how awesome that would be)
This “holiday” says you should appreciate me. Hey, you humans created this holiday so now you much deal with the consequences. (What did you think would happen?)
I need love and purrs to make me happy. You really believe that? (I’ll take a fish steak with some catnip sprinkled on top, then an undisturbed nap)
I have beautiful eyes that will mesmerize you. ( or scare the crap out of you if I stare to long)
You’re on my blog. That alone calls for a tad bit of appreciation for my efforts here. ( I had no choice in writing this, I hope you know)
Hurry Up so I can get some attention. Attention hog Miss Mattie is looking for a Miss Mattie Appreciate day. ( she will ninja pop you for it too )
Above all, all black cats are totally awesome. There is no reason why you “shouldn’t” appreciate us. You just need too with no questions asked.
